Ehab Farid, a civil engineer by profession, has always been drawn to the business side of the engineering industry. His career began in the construction chemicals sector, where he worked for three years before joining a multinational corporation (MNC) in his hometown, Cairo, Egypt. Recognizing the value of business education, he pursued an MBA and secured admission to the University of Toronto, Canada.

The Birth of GTA Inspectors

After 27 years in the corporate world, the COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point for Farid. With global travel restrictions in place, he and his wife took one of the last available flights from Dubai to Toronto. During this period of reflection, he reconnected with friends in Canada who owned one of the largest home inspection businesses in Ontario. Inspired by their work, he identified an untapped opportunity in the UAE market, leading to the founding of GTA Inspectors.
