Q1: Why do we have different program for each country?

A: Rules and regulations in each of the two countries we operate in are different and we could not extend the same program for both locations. However, we are constantly reviewing our policies and things might change in the future

Q2: Is this good for all types of inspections or available on commercial properties?

A: No. It is only valid for home inspections performed by GTA Inspectors.

​Q3: Is this good for FSBOs (For Sale By Owner)?

A: Yes. The home only has to be listed with an agent when we buy it back, not when we inspect it.

​Q4: Is this good for pre-listing, handover, pre-owned property inspections?

A: Yes. And the Guarantee automatically transfers to the new buyer.  The Guarantee goes with the home, not the occupant or owner so it is perfect for pre-listing inspections.

Q5: On the Canadian "Buy Your Home Back" program, how much do we buy the homes back for?

A: ​We'll pay the client/home buyer whatever price they paid for the home.

A: No home is too inexpensive or expensive.  ​

Q8: On the Canadian "Buy Your Home Back" program, does the Guarantee replace insurance?

A: No.  The Guarantee is not insurance and it isn't a substitute for insurance.

​Q9: On the Canadian "Buy Your Home Back" program, is this an insurance product?

A: No. We don't insure anyone's losses, we don't write checks to cover losses, we don't repair or replace any system or component, and we don't charge consumers for anything. We also don't reimburse the consumer for direct or indirect costs of buying the home, such as closing costs or moving costs.  We merely offer to buy the homes for no more than they were recently purchased for (in the past 90 days).

​Q10: On the Canadian "Buy Your Home Back" program, what do we do with the homes we buy?

A:​ We re-inspect them, repair any defects discovered, get them Move-In-Certified, and put the home back on the market.  If we lose money, we eat it.  If we make money, we keep it.
